An investigation has been launched after a shuttle bus collided with a parked airplane at Luxembourg's Findel Airport on Friday afternoon, causing damage but no injuries, police report.
A shuttle bus collided with a stationary commercial airplane at Luxembourg's Findel Airport on Friday afternoon, causing material damage but no injuries, according to police. The incident occurred shortly before 5pm, near parking area P1, where the airliner was parked.
As several buses approached to pick up passengers, one of them – empty at the time – struck the aircraft's left wing.
Authorities confirmed that no-one was hurt in the collision, but both the plane and the bus sustained damage. The public prosecutor has launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
