Luxembourg's Red Bridge lit up with lasers and fog effects Monday night during a surprise test run for October's upcoming throne transition celebrations.

Parts of Luxembourg City’s Red Bridge were closed Monday evening as lasers, lights, and fog effects lit up the area in what appear to be early tests for the upcoming throne transition celebrations in October.

According to RTL sources, two traffic lanes were temporarily shut to allow for the nighttime display. While official details about the October festivities remain unknown, the iconic Red Bridge is expected to play a prominent role in the celebrations.

The unannounced spectacle certainly surprised passersby, offering a glimpse of what’s to come as Luxembourg prepares for the royal event.
