One motorist was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when their vehicle veered off the Burmerange-Schengen road, striking barriers before overturning multiple times and slamming into a tree.
Two motorists were injured – one seriously – when a car crashed near Schengen on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the incident along the Burmerange-Schengen route after the vehicle struck barriers, rolled multiple times, and came to rest against a tree below the roadway.
Police confirmed both occupants sustained injuries, with one requiring urgent medical attention. Multiple rescue teams secured the scene, prompting a full road closure to facilitate their work.
