Snowfall on Wednesday afternoon caused widespread traffic problems across Luxembourg, with multiple accidents reported on roads and motorways.
Drivers in Luxembourg are advised to exercise caution on Wednesday afternoon, as multiple accidents have been reported in the wake of snowfall.
Snow, which was forecast for the day, has caused significant traffic disruptions. Among the incidents, a car flipped over on the CR112 between Brouch and Tuntange. On the CR226 between Bonnevoie and Itzig, a bus veered off the road and ended up in a ditch. Another car crash occurred on Rue Principale in Ernster, where a vehicle ended up in the ditch.
Several accidents were also reported on the motorways. On the A1 towards Trier, near the Flaxweiler exit, a car was stranded on the hard shoulder, causing several kilometres of traffic jams. A three-car collision was also reported on the A1 towards Croix de Gasperich. Additionally, two cars were involved in an accident on the A4 towards Esch-sur-Alzette near Croix de Cessange.
