A man physically attacked several people on the A4 motorway on Friday. The attacks took place in three different locations.

Further details have emerged about the assaults reported on Friday morning along the A4 motorway in Moselle.

A truck driver attacked two Sanef employees at the Brouck rest area between Metz and Saint-Avold and assaulted several others at the Longeville-lès-Saint-Avold and Narbéfontaine rest areas.

According to France Bleu, the suspect, a man in his thirties, is accused of assaulting seven people across three locations for no clear reason. Most of the victims sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are now investigating the motive behind the violent spree. The suspect has been placed in police custody.
