With a focus on sustainability and innovation, the Luxembourg Urban Garden (LUGA) exhibition took a symbolic first step on Thursday in the heart of Luxembourg City.

Preparations for the Luxembourg Urban Garden (LUGA) exhibition officially began on Thursday with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony in the Pétrusse valley.

The LUGA exhibition, scheduled to run from 7 May to 18 October 2025, will showcase a series of innovative green space projects across multiple locations, including sites in Luxembourg City, Ettelbruck, and other areas of Nordstad. In addition to reimagined landscapes, the event will feature artistic installations designed to complement the green spaces.

Sustainability will be a central theme of the exhibition, with a strong emphasis on anti-waste initiatives and ecological practices.

During the launch event, Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer presented plans for the upcoming facilities.
