Residents and visitors in Luxembourg City are being urged to be vigilant after fake QR code stickers were discovered on parking ticket machines.
The municipality of Luxembourg City has reported the discovery of fraudulent QR code stickers on some parking ticket machines in the capital.
These fake "Easy Park" stickers contain a QR code that, when scanned, redirects users to a fraudulent website asking for personal information.

The municipality warns that this is not an official payment site. The only legitimate service for paying parking tickets in Luxembourg City is through the "Indigo Neo" app, which requires users to download the app and create an account.
Official "Indigo Neo" stickers are affixed to parking machines, as the company is the sole provider of parking services in the capital. While the "Easy Park" name belongs to a legitimate company, it does not operate in Luxembourg.

The municipality's services are actively removing the fraudulent stickers from parking machines and have filed a police report regarding the incident.
