A man armed with knives threatened several passers-by near the railway station in Wasserbillig on Monday, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.

On Monday, several passers-by were threatened by a man near the railway station in Wasserbillig. The police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.

At approximately 7.50am on 7 October 2024, the police were alerted to an individual exhibiting aggressive behaviour at Wasserbillig railway station, where he was reportedly brandishing knives.

After leaving the scene, the man was located and arrested shortly thereafter. However, witnesses and potential victims had already departed by the time authorities arrived.
