Shopping enthusiasts, video game fans, and Mexican food lovers have just been given another reason to visit Luxembourg City starting Thursday, as the City of Luxembourg (VDL) announced the opening of six new pop-up stores.

Offering everything from streetwear to handmade candles, there’s something in store for everyone. These pop-up stores, scattered between the city centre and the Gare district, opened in September with the goal of attracting a wide range of customers. As short-term rentals, they are intended to serve as springboards for entrepreneurs handpicked by the City’s municipal council.

Two of the stores are located on Rue Philippe II, with two more on Rue des Capucins. Another store can be found on the Grand-Rue, and others are located on Avenue de la Gare and Avenue de la Liberté.

“Pop-up stores offer an incredible commercial opportunity and can attract a diverse range of people to the city centre,” explained the City’s municipality.

Owners of vacant premises who are interested in offering their space for a potential pop-up store or a showroom should contact the City’s Economic and Commercial Development unit by calling +352 4796-5000.
