A police patrol conducted an arrest on Thursday afternoon after observing a drug deal taking place on Rue de Hollerich in the capital.

Two men were spotted participating in the drug deal. The suspected dealer was promptly taken into custody, where the public prosecutor's office ordered a physical scan. The scan revealed that the suspect had swallowed a number of foreign objects in an attempt to conceal the substances in his possession.

He was duly arrested by order of the prosecutor's office and was brought before a magistrate on Friday.
