Police were called to several incidents involving inebriated individuals on Monday evening in Luxembourg City.
In the late afternoon, officers responded to Place de l'Étoile following reports of a tram staff member being harassed by an intoxicated individual. Upon arrival, police escorted the person to a doctor for a brief medical evaluation before placing them in a holding cell to sober up.
Shortly after, police received another report of a drunken individual harassing customers at a shop on Grand Rue. When officers arrived, the person was uncooperative and was subsequently arrested. The individual was placed in a holding cell and fined for public nuisance.
