SNCF announced the cancellation of the first TGV from Rodange to Paris after pedestrians disrupted railway traffic near Chagny, prompting replacement busses to Thionville while subsequent services remain unaffected.
The first TGV scheduled to take passengers from Rodange to Paris in the context of the Olympics was cancelled due to a disruption caused by pedestrians on the tracks near Chagny, the SNCF announced on its website on Sunday.
Replacement shuttle buses were put in place to take passengers to Thionville, the new starting point of the TGV 2872 to Paris.
The remaining TGVs from Rodange to the French capital have not been impacted by the disruption and are expected to run as scheduled. Passengers are still advised to consult sncf-voyafgeurs.com to stay up to date about potential changes.
