The Alternative Democratic Reform Party (adr) continues to push for disciplinary action following a graduation speech by Claudine Muller, headmistress of the Lycée Technique pour Professions Éducatives et Sociales (LTPES).

In a statement, the adr called on Minister of Education Claude Meisch to instruct the Office of the Government Commissioner responsible for Disciplinary Investigations to review the case.

The adr claims that Muller is a member of the Green Party (déi gréng) and alleges that she violated political neutrality during her speech. MP Fred Keup had previously raised two identical parliamentary questions on the matter, both addressed by Minister Claude Meisch.

The party is particularly concerned about Muller's remarks against former US President Donald Trump and her relief that the far-right did not gain an absolute majority in the recent French elections. The adr describes the term "far-right" as a "vague term" used in France to "defame politicians."
