Minister of Education Claude Meisch expressed his satisfaction with the Science Center board's decision to accept the conditions set by his ministry, hoping for swift implementation.
On Friday, the Administrative Board of the Science Center agreed to the conditions proposed by Minister Meisch. In an interview with our colleagues from RTL.lu, Meisch stated he was pleased that the board members are willing to sign a new agreement.
The ministry had proposed a new agreement last week. While the board's decision is a positive step, Meisch emphasised that it still needs to be finalised, which he hopes will occur in the coming weeks. The new agreement aims to eliminate conflicts of interest and includes provisions for appointing two representatives from the Ministry to the board of directors, thereby increasing oversight of the Science Center's management.
