Join space enthusiasts from around the globe this Friday and Saturday at Luxembourg's annual Asteroid Day Festival, a free two-day event at Cercle Cité featuring renowned speakers, astronauts, and interactive programmes for all ages.

Are you a space lover who doesn't have anything to do this Friday and Saturday? Well, you are in luck then as Luxembourg will be hosting its annual and much-anticipated Asteroid Day Festival, a two-day event at Cercle Cité that includes many speakers from universities and from different space agencies. On top of that, you will also be able to meet astronauts and cosmonauts at the festival.

Similar events will be hosted worldwide on and around 30 June, the UN-sanctioned day for public awareness of asteroid impact risks. This festival thus aims to educate the public about both the risks and benefits of asteroids.

On Friday, the festival kicks off with a series of lectures by experts while Saturday will see an emphasis put on young space enthusiasts, allowing them to take part in a rich programme and talk to experts in their field.

Entry is free and people of all ages can attend. Though prior registration is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
