Two thieves accosted their victim on Thursday evening and asked to photograph his bag, before stealing the item and running away.

According to police, the incident took place at around 7.20pm on Thursday.

The victim was approached by two strangers who asked to take photos of his bag. When he refused, the thieves snatched the bag from his grasp and ran off.

An investigation has been opened.
