On Sunday, police successfully located a car in Remerschen that had been reported stolen in Germany.
In the early afternoon, Luxembourg police received information from their German counterparts regarding a stolen vehicle at a service station in Remerschen. Upon arrival, police found both the car and the driver still present at the scene. Additionally, officers discovered a file, a crowbar, and a pouch of methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Following instructions from the public prosecutor's office, the driver was fined, and the car was seized.
In another incident on Sunday afternoon, police responded to reports of a vehicle driving erratically towards Bascharage. Subsequent alcohol testing revealed that the driver was under the influence, resulting in a fine.
Later in the evening, police were called to the N15 in Pommerloch, where a driver's reckless behaviour had attracted attention. At a nearby service station, authorities located the driver and their damaged vehicle. Following a positive breathalyser test, the driver received a temporary driving ban.
