The recent heavy rains have led to mudslides along several of Luxembourg's roads, with the N1 closed on Thursday morning between Senningerberg and Senningen.

Last weekend, the N10 near Rosport was closed following a mudslide – now, the N1, or the Route de Trèves, suffered a similar fate. The road was shut to traffic on Thursday morning following a mudslide on the slope adjacent to the road surface, between Senningerberg and Senningen.

The road has since reopened, but one lane remains closed as cleanup works continue.
