It was a real marathon for the police on the night leading into Sunday, as they were summoned to various locations facing multiple instances of violent behavior.

Around 11 pm on Saturday evening, the police were summoned to Schifflange to address a domestic dispute. A woman reported having been assaulted by her partner and having sustained injuries as a result. In response, the public prosecutor's office instructed the man to leave the residence. At the police station, the man exhibited aggressive behavior, including verbally insulting police personnel. He was consequently detained in temporary custody, and a formal complaint was lodged against him.

The police reported being called to intervene in four additional instances of domestic disputes; however, in these cases, no individuals were required to leave their domicile.

There were several disputes and altercations on the police intervention list on the night from Saturday to Sunday. On two occasions, police responded to calls but were unable to fully ascertain details on the spot. However, in two cases, officers encountered individuals who appeared heavily intoxicated. They were taken into custody.

Shortly after 4 am, a theft occurred on Avenue Monterey in the City, where a person had their headphones stolen. The victim resisted the theft, leading the perpetrator to attack and injure them before fleeing. According to the police, the victim sustained multiple stab wounds - an investigation was launched.
