Late Thursday afternoon in northern Luxembourg, an emergency helicopter was mobilised following an incident near Clervaux.

The accident occurred on the RN10 between Dasbourg-Pont and Marnach. While it has been confirmed that a motorcyclist fell, details surrounding the circumstances of the incident remain unknown.

Significant resources were deployed to assist the injured motorcyclist, including two fire engines, an ambulance, and an Air Rescue helicopter, all despatched to the scene.

Thursday saw a series of other incidents, with eight additional individuals sustaining injuries on Luxembourg's roads. Additionally, two minor fires were reported in Dudelange and Roeser during the evening, fortunately resulting in no injuries.

In a separate incident, a hiker was injured after falling in a forest near Insenborn around 2.45pm. Teams from the Fire and Rescue Centre Alebësch/Esch-sur-Sûre promptly intervened and provided assistance to the injured individual, who was subsequently admitted to hospital for further treatment.
