On Wednesday evening, two individuals had their licenses revoked, one was given a driving ban, and in another case, a protocol was issued.
In Schifflange, a police patrol noticed a car parked in an unusual manner on Avenue de la Libération: the vehicle was parked on the sidewalk, directly in front of a pedestrian crossing by a garage entrance. The police conducted a control, and the individual was subjected to a breathalyzer test. The result was positive, leading to the revocation of the driver's license.
On the same evening in Grevenmacher, another car was observed driving in a zigzag pattern, repeatedly touching the sidewalk. The police managed to stop the woman shortly after spotting the vehicle. The breathalyzer test was also positive in this case, resulting in the revocation of her driving license.
Once again, provisional driving bans and protocols were issued for two female drivers seen driving in a zigzag pattern on Iechternacherstrooss in Altrier on Wednesday night. Both vehicles were later spotted at a gas station by a police patrol. Checks were conducted and the breath test results were positive in both cases, resulting in the aforementioned penalties.
