Public prosecutor's office confirmsMinistry initiates legal action in CMCM case

RTL Today
RTL has received confirmation from the spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office that the Ministry of Social Security has filed a formal complaint.

The potential accusations being considered include breach of trust. The lawsuit targets the Director General of the Mutualist Medical and Supplementary Fund (CMCM), with the CMCM itself identified as the victim of the alleged breach.

The complaint is rooted in Article 23 of the Criminal Procedure Act, which stipulates that any minister, among others, who becomes aware of facts that may constitute a crime or offence, must inform the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and provide all relevant files and documents.
