The Patient Advocacy Group has spearheaded a push for the introduction of a sugar tax on soft drinks in Luxembourg, aiming to improve children's health and well-being based on a preliminary analysis.
The non-profit association highlights the potential of such measures to curtail the consumption of sugary beverages. They cited examples in other countries, following similar proposals, of an overall reduction in cola and fizzy drink intake or the introduction of low-sugar alternatives.
