Yet another construction company has declared bankruptcy in Luxembourg as the sector struggles with economic woes.

On Wednesday afternoon, Carvalho Constructions Générales confirmed the company would go bankrupt at the end of February.

103 employees will be affected by the latest in a string of bankruptcies afflicting the country’s construction industry.

According to RTL sources, staff were informed on Tuesday, and are being supported by the LCGB trade union. An information meeting is to take place within the company on Friday.

The news comes just six days after roofing company Toitures Martino declared bankruptcy after months of financial difficulties.
