As reported on Wednesday by the Portuguese-language newspaper “Contacto,” the company Toitures Martino had been experiencing difficulties for months, and employees were already anticipating the possibility of bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy will impact 30 employees, some of whom have been waiting for their salaries for months, according to information received by Contacto from the Luxembourgish Trade Union LCGB.
Yet, the bankruptcy did not come as a surprise, as the company had to sell vans and other materials in November of the previous year to settle debts.
