Simba went missing in January and on Monday, it was sadly reported that the miniature zebu had died and that an additional calf was missing.
It is a challenging period for the farm in Surré, located in the municipality of Boulaide.
Following the disappearance of Simba, the male zebu, in January, another calf from the same herd went missing in February. A few days after the second disappearance, the farm owners discovered Simba dead in the pasture. It appears that the animal was returned to the field after its death.
The police have initiated an investigation into the death of the animal and the disappearance of the calf.
