A miniature zebu was found dead with signs of torture on a northern Luxembourg farm, marking a disturbing series of events that include another missing calf and a dead bull discovered in recent days.
On Monday, the owner of a miniature zebu that went missing from a farm in northern Luxembourg in January announced that the animal was found dead on the field from where it disappeared. He further conveyed that he found cut wounds on Simba's throat and ears, pointing to acts of animal torture. Both the prosecutor's office and the Veterinary Inspection have been informed of the incident.
On top of this gruesome finding, the farmer has also noticed that another calf has been missing from the same field since Sunday. This time, he found clear indication that the animal was taken.
Furthermore, last Saturday, another eight-month-old bull was found dead near the feeding ground.
