After several increases during February, the price of diesel is making a small welcome turnaround for drivers.
Good news for motorists: the price of diesel is finally falling this Thursday in Luxembourg. After gaining more than nine cents in barely two weeks, it falls back below €1.60.
From midnight on Wednesday, going into Thursday, the price per litre of diesel falls to €1.578 (-3 cents). With this reduction, a full tank of 50 litres will cost €78.90. This is a savings of €1.50, compared to earlier prices on Wednesday.
The new price of diesel brings fuel prices up to par with gasoline. The latter does not change: a litre of SP95 will remain at €1.576 in Luxembourg.
Additionally, you can also expect a discount of three cents per litre for 10ppm fuel oil, to be sold at €1.048 starting Thursday.
