In recent hours, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has responded to two separate accidents in Luxembourg, one occurring in Luxembourg City and the other in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The first incident unfolded at around 6.30pm on Rue des Trevires in Luxembourg City, where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, resulting in injuries.
Shortly thereafter, at 6.48pm, another accident occurred on Rue Joseph Kieffer in Esch-sur-Alzette, involving a collision between two cars. One of the drivers was injured.
In addition to the aforementioned accidents, the fire brigade was called to address a burning bin along Route d'Arlon in Bertrange, reported at 9.49pm.
