Luxair flight LG5682 en route between Ljubljana and Luxembourg on Sunday was forced to land in Munich, after pilots reported a crack in their cockpit windshield.

The damage occurred while the aircraft was in Austrian airspace above Salzburg.

According to flight tracker Flightradar24.com, the Dash-8 plane was grounded for approximately 31 hours in Munich, repaired, and returned to Luxembourg on Monday evening around 9pm. It continued flying normally as of 6 February.

Passengers on the Ljubljana flight were transferred to other flights.

Last week, a Luxair plane was forced to turn back after takeoff from Bucharest due to a technical issue.
