Passengers had to spend another night in the Romanian capital after the Boeing 737-700 was deemed to have technical problems shortly after taking off from Bucharest airport on Thursday.
Luxair confirmed the pilot had decided to turn back immediately after take-off as a “precautionary measure”. Around 100 passengers were offered overnight accommodation in a hotel and returned to Luxembourg on Friday.
