The Luxembourg Organic Farming Association supports the recent farmers' protests across Europe, citing the increasing demands placed on farmers amidst various crises as justifiable grounds for resistance.

While acknowledging the challenges faced by farmers, the non-profit association cautions against calls to reduce natural resource protections. Such demands, it argues, would undermine the sustainability of agriculture, akin to sawing off the very branch upon which it relies.

Highlighting the potential of organic farming to address many of these challenges, the association advocates for policies that promote self-sufficiency on farms, such as limiting the number of animals to those that can be sustained by farm resources alone.

The non-profit also demands a seat at the table in all negotiations.
