Renovation costs for Luxembourg City's Rousegäertchen underground car park are set to surpass initial estimates by €6 million, with the park scheduled to reopen by the end of the year.

The Luxembourg City municipal council on Monday announced that works on the Rousegäertchen underground car park are expected to be completed by the end of this year. The costs for the renovation are projected to exceed initial estimations by €6 million to reach a total of €28.6 million.

The increase of costs was primarily attributed to the spike in material costs after the pandemic.
