The police estimates around 200 people attended the protest in Luxembourg City on Saturday.
On Saturday afternoon, a protest took place calling for a ceasefire in Gaza in front of the United States Embassy in Limpertsberg.
The United States, as Israel's closest ally, is complicit in the war against the Palestinian people, says the Committee for a Just Peace in the Middle East (CPJPO), which organised the demonstration. Three months of bombardments has led to the unjustified deaths of too many innocent civilians.
Protesters also shed light on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as humanitarian aid is being blocked from entering Palestinian territory. The CPJPO calls for the Luxembourgish government to support South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
