On Sunday afternoon, police were alerted to the theft of a bank card at a cash machine in Grevenmacher, during which the victim also had a significant amount of cash stolen. A police patrol was able to locate and stop the suspect shortly afterwards as part of a search operation.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, the man was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on Monday.
