
Prince Félix, the Grand Duke’s second son, has two other children with his wife Claire, whom he married in 2013. Balthasar was born at Luxembourg’s maternity hospital on 7 January, weighing 3.220kg and measuring 50cm long. Both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
The couple’s first daughter, Princess Amalia Gabriela Maria Teresa, was born on 15 June 2014 at the Luxembourg central hospital’s maternity wing. Her brother, Prince Liam Henri Hartmut of Nassau, was born in Geneva on 28 November 2016.
Last month, the Court announced that Félix’s sister, Princess Alexandra, was expecting her first child with her husband Nicolas Bagory.
