The American fried chicken chain KFC has confirmed plans to open a new outlet in Belval Plaza in autumn 2024.
Quick, McDonald's, Burger King... there is no shortage of choices for lovers of fast food in the Grand Duchy these days. Now KFC is set to join their ranks, with plans to open a store in southern Luxembourg in 2024.
The chain already announced plans to open outlets in the north of the country, in Marnach and Pommerloch, in 2023, although these stores have not yet opened their doors to the public. Now, the fried chicken shop has set its sights on a site in Belval, close to the University of Luxembourg campus.
The new outlet is expected to open in September 2024 to coincide with the start of the next academic year, and will take over the premises of the Buffalo Grill restaurant in Belval Plaza.
