Emergency services report that four people suffered injuries in accidents on Tuesday evening, including two pedestrians that were hit by motorists.
Shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday, a motorist crashed into a pole on the RN07 between Rollingen and Mersch. One person was injured in the accident, which drew responses from Lintgen and Mersch emergency services.
Around the same time, a pedestrian was hit by a car and injured on Rue de Stavelot in Diekirch. Nordstad emergency services were deployed to the scene.
Shortly before 6pm, another pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a motorist, this time in Rodange. Emergency services from Pétange and Sanem-Differdange were called to the scene.
Two vehicles collided on the RN04 between Cloche d'Or and Leudelange shortly after 7pm. Here too, one person was injured. Luxembourg City emergency services were called into action as a result.
