In the past few days, the police have been called to address a range of incidents involving various offences.
Death threats and disturbance in Hesperange
On Saturday night, around 12.30am, the police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance and damaging property in a bar on Rue des Joncs in Hesperange. Upon arriving at the scene, a police patrol apprehended the man, who had previously made threats through the emergency hotline. Due to his inebriated state, the decision was made to place him in a sobering-up cell. However, during the transfer, the individual escalated the situation by making death threats against the overseeing officers. Subsequently, the public prosecutor's office was notified, leading to his arrest. The man has been presented before an examining magistrate.

The suspect was attempting to exit a store with a bag filled with stolen goods.
