A police patrol in Dudelange took action around 5.20pm on Thursday when their attention was drawn to a vehicle on Rue de la Libération. The driver had failed to yield to a pedestrian at a zebra crossing.
Upon further inspection, it was revealed that the motorist was driving without a valid driving licence and had previously been fined for this offence. In addition, the vehicle exhibited several technical defects.
In response to these violations, the driver was apprehended under the directive of the public prosecutor's office, and the vehicle was impounded.
