The police reported a series of burglaries, including incidents in Eischen and Neuhaeusgen, on Tuesday night.
In Eischen, a single-family house in the Eischthal neighbourhood fell victim to a break-in. The identity of the perpetrators remains unknown. They forcibly entered the property by breaching the terrace door and searched all rooms.
At around 1.30am, a flat in an apartment building on Rue Principale, Neuhaeusgen, was also targeted. In this case, the intruders gained access to the building through a first-floor window. The burglars combed through the premises, making off with various items, including watches and jewellery.
Investigations have been launched into both burglary cases.
