The Japanese construction company will be responsible for building the Luxembourg pavilion for Expo 2025 in Osaka, which will be held from 13 April to 13 October 2025.
Speaking at the signing of the contract, Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot stressed the importance of this agreement in light of the “highly complex” situation within Japan’s construction sector. The contract, he noted, provides the necessary assurance for the construction of Luxembourg’s pavilion. Minister Fayot expressed confidence in Naito House as a trusted Japanese company, well-equipped to execute the pavilion’s design envisioned by Luxembourg’s architects and engineers.
The chosen theme for Luxembourg’s pavilion at Expo 2025 is “Doki Doki - The Luxembourg Heartbeat,” with “Doki Doki” being a Japanese expression for “heartbeat.” The pavilion was designed by the architectural firm Steinmetzdemeyer, which worked in collaboration with the scenographers from Jangled Nerves.
