A major roadside check was conducted in Bertrange on Friday evening. Police officers checked 117 motorists but did not withdraw any driving licences.

A total of 117 drivers were asked to take breathalyser tests, most of which came back negative. Four tests were positive, but the blood-alcohol levels remained beneath the permissible threshold, meaning that while the motorists in question were fined, they were allowed to keep their licences.
