Luxembourg has witnessed a string of burglaries within the past 24 hours, with authorities confirming the occurrence of four incidents since Friday afternoon.
The first reported burglary took place shortly before 4pm in Mondorf-les-Bains, where a residence on Avenue Frantz Clément was broken into. The police have refrained from disclosing specific details regarding the stolen items.
Shortly thereafter, in Leudelange, an individual or a group broke into a house through a window on Rue de Roedgen.
Another case was reported in Mersch, specifically on Rue Lohr, on Friday evening. Here, burglars accessed the residence through a veranda door, making off with valuable possessions.
On Friday night, a residence on Rue Michel Gehrend in Bonnevoie was targeted. The perpetrators gained access to the house through the garage and stole several bottles of wine before fleeing.
Another burglary is thought to have taken place on Thursday or Friday in Belvaux on Rue de la Gare. According to preliminary information, the perpetrators breached the cellar of the house, stealing several valuable items.
Investigations have been initiated into all of these occurrences.
