MPs in the Chamber agreed that “honest” people and businesses should be protected by the new law on payment service providers.

A new European data bank will thus be created to collect information on cross-border payments, a process that is hoped to help monitor instances of fraud. This directive can be applied if 25 cross-border payments are made to the same beneficiary in the span of one quarter.
