The initiative is designed to aid newly established firms that employ fewer than 10 people, and have an annual turnover of less than 2 million euros.
According to the Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the aim is to assist those companies who struggle with liquidity in their first few months of operation.
Under the programme, eligible businesses can receive a maximum subsidy of €12,000. This amount, which does not have to be repaid, will be disbursed in monthly installments of €2,000.
