The boy fell several metres into the ravine from the ‘Teufelinsel’ viewpoint and sustained serious injuries. Although emergency services rushed to the scene to attend to the boy, he died at the scene of the accident.
The public prosecutor’s office has instructed a forensics team to carry out an investigation. Family members have been looked after by the psychological support group (GSP).
