
The ministers, along with representatives from energy supplier Creos, emphasised that the activation of these charging points would contribute to the densification of the “SuperChargy” network.

Luxembourg currently boasts a robust network of 3,000 charging points, making it one of the most densely equipped countries in Europe. This network caters to the needs of its 30,000 registered electric vehicles.
In the forthcoming months, the country plans to install a total of 90 ultra-fast charging points across 18 motorway service stations, service areas, and major roads throughout the nation.
The government has assured that these public charging stations will be powered solely by green electricity, reinforcing Luxembourg’s commitment to sustainable energy and transportation solutions.
