As of Monday, registered voters who will not be able to vote in person in the upcoming municipal elections, can apply for postal voting.
There are several ways by which absentees can register for the postal vote. They can either do so by filling out a form from their municipality or do it electronically via MyGuichet.lu.
The registration period will be open as of Monday and remain so until 25 days before election day. This means that people can apply until 17 May as the elections take place on 11 June.
However, the deadline to register for postal voting is 2 May for registered voters who live abroad.
