According to the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, greenhouse gas emissions increased slightly in Luxembourg compared to the previous years. Nevertheless, they remained below the legal limit.
The only sectors that did not exceed the emission allowances for the year 2021 were transportation and agriculture.
